The Michigan Ceramic Art Association (MCAA) welcomes more than 200 ceramic artists from across the state to its biannual conference, being held at Western Michigan University on May 16-17, 2025. MCAA has been promoting the ceramic arts in Michigan for 67 years.

Michigan Mud 2025 will feature internationally nationally known and celebrated ceramic artists Paul S. Briggs and Kyungmin Park, along with dozens of well-known artists from Michigan and the Midwest.

Michigan Mud provides networking and community building for the full range of ceramic artists, and an opportunity for the community to view exhibitions and purchase some of the artwork. Ceramic students also will have a chance to participate in a juried student show with scholarship prizes through recommendations from their teachers.
